Linens has one of the finest collections of antique linens found today.
It was during a lengthy stay in England that Joy Klein first became interested
in antique linens. She visited many of the stately homes and found herself
drawn to the beauty and romance of these exquisite pieces. She began to
haunt antique shops, estate sales and auction houses in her quest for vintage
linens. She has assembled an incredible collection, including linens formerly
owned by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. These were purchased at Sotheby's
in 1998, during the famous auction of their possessions.
Joy
Klein's passion for collecting never abated and in 1987 the decision to
become a dealer was born. Working by appointment only, as well as having
an unlisted phone number, she nevertheless developed a strong following,
including many celebrities, one of whom, Barbara
Taylor Bradford, has written a letter of recommendation that can be
viewed on this website.
In
addition, both Gourmet Magazine and Colonial Homes have requested and used
her linens for photo shoots in their publications. Joan Hamburg on WOR
Radio in New York has also highly recommended this collection.
Thank
you for your interest in viewing Heritage Linens' website. Each purchase
