Circa early 1920s - 8 French Alencon lace ecru placemats measuring 18" by 12." There are 8 matching napkins in ecru linen and one corner has the alencon lace. These napkins measure 17." I purchased this magnificent set from a Palm Beach estate. They are in wonderful condition.
Circa early 1900s - Linen tablecloth measuring 68" by 102." This exquisite white linen cloth consists of many point DE Venice inserts, Broderie anglaise and drawn work. There is a scalloped filet lace border depicting roses. The drawn work and broderie anglaise is done in blue thread. This blue is hard to photograph. The cloth is now pressed and ready to grace your table.
Banquet size. Unusually long pale ecru Point De Vence runner measuring an exceptional 105" by 12."
Circa Early 1900s - This exquisite linen cloth measures 70" by 102." There is so much intricate work that it is difficult to describe it. Hopefully the pictures will depict the painstaking work in this tablecloth. The center has an oval design of drawnwork. There are many inserts of Point DE Vence throughout the cloth and heavy satin stitch embroidery. There is a wide filet lace scalloped border. Since photographing this cloth it has been beautifully laundered and ironed with French lavender linen water.
HUGE BANQUET CLOTH & 17 NAPKINS. This linen and organdy cloth measures 66" by 162". The linen cloth has organdy panels with linen appliques. The 20" napkins are linen with the organdy motif on one corner. The cloth has been beautifully laundered since the photographs were taken and is ready to grace a dining room table.
Circa Late 1800's - Highly unusual whimsical tablecloth measuring 70" by 112". This beautiful tablecloth has a linen center, then there are alternating squares of linen with broderie anglais, satin stitch embroidery and needle lace. The alternating squares consist of filet lace depicting many different animal figures, mythological figures and cherub figures. There is a wide filet lace border around this outstanding tablecloth.
Circa 1900 - Large 94" round linen cloth. This is a very hard to find size in a round cloth. It is the largest round cloth I have ever been able to purchase. This beautiful cloth consists of broderie anglaise embroidery and bobbin lace.
Circa late 19th century - 12 huge 32" by 27" French linen damask lapkins with monogram B P or T in
center. Lapkins have hand rolled hems. One lapkin has a small pin sized hole in the weave.
Circa 1890 - 9 gigantic French lapkins 37" by 32" of heavy linen with a border.
Circa 1840-1860 - 10 French large 28" by 24" linen damask lapkins. There is a monogram E. R.
Circa 1900 - Oval unbleached linen tablecloth 69" by 57". Elaborate drawn work with a center design of Battenberg and border of Battenberg.
Circa 1880 - 9 French damask large linen lapkins measuring 30" by 25". There is a satin stitched monogram in center C.P.
Circa Turn of the 19th Century
- 43" Round Victorian linen tea cloth with punchwork of roses and a wide
bobbin lace border.
Circa Victorian - 84" round
linen cloth with filet lace and bobbin lace inserts as well as cutwork
and embroidery. There are a couple of loose threads in the bobbin lace,
which I have photographed; they are very minor. This is an exquisite example
of Victoriana.
